The GWS decided in 2024 to install a new office on the Kantoher Farm Site. It is a Fabricated insulated building 9m x 3m. It is a big success for the GWS as they now have their own office property.
The committee meetings are also held here and any other business the GWS undertake. Members come and make payments when due. There is also a new Eircode V42XF62.
As lessons were learnt from the heavy snow and storms of early 2025 the GWS decided to purchase stand-by generators for the plants. A new 3-phase generator was purchased for the plants in Granagh and a single-phase for Cappagh Res which now supplies Croagh. Generator sockets are fitted to all plants for emergency use. It is hoped to purchase another generator in 2026.
Kantoher Farm Plant has a permanent generator as has Rosemount and Croagh.
